Eczema Treatment - Dead Sea Salt, Mud Shampoo, Mud Body Cream + Mud Soap

Mud Soap: This Mud Soap cleanses the skin deeply, removes dirt and brings back oil and minerals to your skin. It can be used for both face and body.

Mud Shampoo: Shake well before use. Apply the shampoo in the palm of your hand and massage it into the hair and scalp for one minute. Rinse well and repeat.

Dead Sea salt: Dissolve 250 g of salt in 750 ml of water. Put this in a plastic bottle and place it in the bathroom. In this way you create a salt water lotion with the same concentration as that of the Dead Sea.

After showering with the Mud Soap and the Mud Shampoo, turn off the shower tap and gently wash for 3 to 5 minutes with a washcloth with the Dead Sea lotion. Then rinse if necessary. The longer the salty water stays on the skin, the better. The more often you dry the skin with the lotion during the day, the better.

A liter of Dead Sea lotion is on average sufficient for 10-12 washes of an adult. With a pot of salt (1.2 kg) you make a small 5 liter Dead Sea lotion. Shelf life is infinite.

After washing/contact with the Dead Sea lotion the salt will burn on the skin causing the itching to decrease. In this way the skin is disinfected. This is a normal, temporary response.

To limit the burning and sticky feeling for children, we recommend the following concentrations of salt: 

Children up to 3 years of age: Dissolve the above salty water in the bath water.

For children from 3 years of age: dissolve 100 g of salt in 900 ml of water.

Mud Bodycream: Avoid scratching, keep the nails short, wear cotton gloves at night. Apply the body cream every day and when itching.

ATTENTION: Do not use the products on open wounds.
