Crucial to the success of the treatment of rosacea is first of all recognizing the skin condition. Some people indicate the inflammation as acne, but it is absolutely not: the skin with rosacea should be treated as sensitive skin, and absolutely not as impure skin.

The skin with rosacea is not greasy, but dry. The skin's barrier function is disrupted and skincare should therefore be aimed at restoring the skin barrier so that the skin can better protect itself against harmful external influences. In addition, avoid using hot water when showering or washing the face and gently pat your skin dry afterwards.

Cleansing

Never wash your face with water alone; this dries out the skin. Use a mild cleansing gel and lukewarm water or use the combination cleansing milk and facial tonic. No water is needed at all here. Remove make-up with one of our mild make-up removers.

Serum

Calm and nourish your skin by treating it with a vitamin cocktail. Our facial serums offer a broad spectrum of vitamins that support and restore your skin. One serum that is particularly effective is the one with arbutin and niacinamide.

Facial cream

Protect your skin from external factors such as wind and cold with a rich cream. The avocado cream for face and body, the retinol day and night cream and the Gold Edition Lifting Cream Serum nourish and soothe the skin and are great for rosacea care.

Mask

Apply a mud mask once a week. This ensures that your skin is properly cleansed and supplied with trace elements that help repair and soothe the skin. Then pat the skin with tonic.

Although rosacea cannot be cured, there are a number of treatment methods that will benefit some and not as much or not at all others, such as laser treatments or cauterising the capillaries. Consult a qualified beautician about this.
