Psoriasis is a genetic and chronic skin disease that is characterised by very dry, red, swollen areas on the skin surface, usually on the elbows, knees and scalp. This type of skin requires a profound hydration and soothing care.
1 Mineral Soap
Mild cleansing for dry, irritated skin. To increase absorption through the skin lather the body generously, let it work for two minutes and rinse well. Result is guaranteed after regular use.
2 Mud Shampoo
Gently removes dander on the scalp. Calms the scalp.
Directions for use: Shake well before use. Apply the shampoo in the palm of your hand and massage into hair and scalp for one minute. Rinse well and repeat.
3. Dead Sea Mud
The black mud found in the Dead Sea contains 26 minerals and has a deep cleansing effect. It absorbs oils and dirt, relieves pain in muscles and joints and soothes and refreshes the skin. Dead Sea Mud applied to (parts of) the body reduces stress and slows the aging process of the skin. The immune system is strengthened and therefore the resistance improves. The moisture-absorbing effect of the minerals improves digestion, detoxifies and restores the moisture balance of the skin cells, making them firmer.
Suggested use: Before bathing or showering, apply a generous amount to the whole body (possibly heated in the microwave for 1 minute) or only in the areas where the psoriasis is located. Allow the mud to dry, but leave it on the skin for no longer than 20 minutes. Rinse well with water.
For psoriasis on knees and elbows: heat the mud in the microwave for 1 minute, apply it to the surface and cover it with plastic wrap. Wrap a warm towel around it and leave it on for 15-20 minutes.
4 Avocado Face and Body Cream
Calms the skin; very effective for irritation, itching, extremely dry skin, redness and flakes.
Apply twice a day after cleaning with the mineral soap and the Dead Sea lotion. Improvement in skin condition can be noticed after just a few days; the skin feels relaxed and nourished again.
